Todate Duterte’s critics are in harrowing because of the Supreme Court’s decision on Marcos burial. For them, the decision of SC granting the hero’s burial of the late President Marcos in the Libingan ng mga Bayani is an insult to the EDSA Spirit.
Former president Fidel V. Ramos said, I quote, “Kung kakalimutan ‘yon o iismolin o binabalewala ‘yan (EDSA People Power Revolution), para mong binabalewala ‘yong paghihirap, pagsisikap, kontribusyon ng mga sundalo at mga pulis kagaya namin.”
If we would look back and analize the EDSA People Power Revolution that happened in 1986, mostly of the Filipinos would say that it was a joke and should be erased in the Philippine history because the people who enjoyed the benefits are merely the Aquino family and their cronies.
The Filipinos had enough of the Aquino bullshits. Ninoy Aquino was a clown and never a hero, he never was and never will be. Former president Corazon Aquino was nothing but a widowed wife and never did shit during her so called presidency. Noynoy Aquino was tagged as a retard and it was a tragedy for the entire Filipino to have him as president. During their terms, Filipinos got brainwashed.
Another Duterte’s critics Senator Kiko Pangilinan said, I quote, “We kicked out a reviled dictator and now we are honoring him by burying him in our national heroes cemetery. No less than our Supreme Court wants our citizens, our children to honor a plunderer and tyrant. This is shameful and deplorable. Marcos is not a hero. His burial at the Libingan ng mga Bayani desecrates our democracy and the memory of those who fought for freedom and justice in our country.”
Senator Kiko Pangilinan is ignorant to the fact that all of the American courts and the Sandigang Bayan ng Pilipinas magmula sa iba’t ibang court division I, II, III, IV and V found “Marcos Not Guilty”. Marcos did not plunder nor rob the Philippines or the Filipino people. Ang pamilya Marcos pa nga ang ninakawan.
While Archbishop Socrates B. Villegas, another Duterte’s critics who also called Duterte to resign expresed his sentiments said, I quote, “Burying Marcos in the Libingan ng mga Bayani will not bring peace and unity to the country. Peace can only come if there is justice. Justice demands recognition of the harm done to the people and restritution to the victims.”
I guess, Archbishop Villegas forgets that peace and unity can be achieved kung marunong lamang siyang magpatawad.
Another Duterte’ critics Senator Hontiveros said, I quote, “By allowing the remains of the late Ferdinand E. Marcos to be buried in the Libingan ng mga Bayani, the high tribunal has failed to protect the truth from the Marcos’ fictional universe.” At nanakot pa na magha “hunger strike” siya para lamang i-reverse ng SC ang naging ruling on Marcos burial. Ang cheap ng kaniyang pagiisip.
Tapos na ang boksing. The Supreme Court has its ruling that the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos should be buried in the Libingan ng mga Bayani. Pinag botohan yan ng 14 SC Justices and out of 14 the 9 justices favored for Marcos burial in the LNMB against the 5 justices who disapproved. Kudos to the nine SC justices who really saw the truth and justice for Marcos.
